Discipleship Lessons
Discipleship Lessons
In starting new churches, Rev. Honeycutt found a lack of local church based materials to, not only ground a new believer, but to grow them to the point of winning people to Christ and discipling them to do the same.
In 1992, Rev. Honeycutt authored the Journey Discipleship lessons that have these important elements:
They are a tool for soul winning;
They contain large amounts of the Word of God;
They are doctrinally correct;
They work in multiple cultures;
They evaluate the disciple;
They prepare the disciple to be a soul winner;
They encourage disciples to systematically multiply;
They contain the right Bible verses for the new believer;
They contain training and procedures for one on one discipleship.
Rev. Honeycutt frequently says, “There are no magic lessons, but there are studies that better organize and emphasize the Word of God!”
These local church, one on one discipleship lessons are in use in 14 countries by over 450 churches and available in 14 languages.
